Cadence is a cost-estimation platform for satellite operators. It quantifies the operational, fuel, and mission-impact cost of every response to a conjunction warning, so operators decide with evidence rather than instinct. It is our lead investment story: the largest near-term market, the clearest buyer, and an ESA EXPRO+ shortlisting behind it.

Why now. European institutional software is having a sovereignty moment. Defence procurement, public-sector AI, citizen data, and orbital infrastructure all face a single question: can it be deployed under European law and on European soil? The market for “yes” is large and underserved.

Why this category. Triops doesn't compete with horizontal SaaS or with US-headquartered platforms. We build vertical products for clearly defined institutional buyers: ESA, NATO, EU governments, municipalities, and the private operators inside their procurement chains. Each product is purpose-built for its buyer and ships into established procurement frameworks.

Why us. We have multiple shipping products, an ESA EXPRO+ shortlisting, an active EIC Pathfinder consortium, and a clear path from research to operations across the portfolio. The company is Estonian-incorporated, EU-hosted, and structured for institutional procurement from the ground up.
